Which airline credit card would be my optimal choice?

My significant other and I plan to fly to India twice every year until 2025, and we also anticipate making 3-5 domestic trips annually.

I am considering charge credit cards that would suit our needs best, intending to close these accounts after two years, aligning with our planned stay in the USA.

Currently, I have the Amex Platinum and previously used the Chase Sapphire Preferred for flight expenses. I also rely on my C1Vx for lounge access.

I’m exploring options such as the Amex Delta Gold, Platinum, or Reserve cards. Any advice on which would be most suitable would be greatly appreciated.

Amex Delta Reserve is the best reliable card although it is expensive because it charges an annual fee of $550.

It has the following benefits:

  • All Platinum benefits.
  • Access to Delta Sky Clubs and Amex Centurion Lounges.
  • Complimentary upgrades.
  • 3x miles on Delta purchases.
