Suggestions on the best airline credit card

Hello people,

I’ve been thinking about getting an airline credit card to maximize my travel rewards. There are so many options out there, from different airlines and banks offering various perks. I travel frequently within the US and occasionally internationally.

I’m looking for a card that offers good rewards on flights, preferably with no blackout dates, and maybe some additional perks like lounge access or free checked bags. Annual fees are okay as long as the benefits outweigh the cost.

Does anyone have any recommendations or personal experiences with airline credit cards? I’d love to hear your thoughts before I make a decision. TIA…

Until 2025, SO and I intend to travel to India twice a year. Every year, we intend to take three to five domestic travels.

Any credit card that would be most convenient for us can be charged to me. By our intended stay in the USA, I will terminate these accounts after two years.

In the past, I had Chase Sapphire Preferred, which covered my airfare costs. I currently have an Amex Platinum card. I do believe that lounge access will be covered by my C1Vx.

A few credit cards that are taken into account include Amex Delta Gold, Platinum, and Reserve.

Please advise me on my alternatives. Regards
