Why Am I Not Approved for an American Express CC with 800+ Scores on All 3 Credit Bureaus?

AE says it’s due to my limited credit history with them. Although I’ve had credit history with a mortgage and many cards for almost 10 years, with 100% payment.

Nope, that should be one of the easier ones to get approved for. I am surprised.

So their rejection letter said lack of history with them?

Second this. Call the reconsideration line 1-800-567-1083. They will tell you exactly why and whether you are eligible for recon. Often times the system auto denial can be overridden.
