For example, rideshare credits.

That’s really cool. Thank you. Now I need a Susan G. Komen card. I’ll match my elite status to get into museums.
Some credit cards offer cellphone insurance if you pay the bill automatically with them. I’m sure a lot of people still buy phone insurance or don’t know they can file a claim and just buy a new phone.
@Dany
Isn’t that a perk for all World Elite Mastercards?
@Dany
I pay annually, and last I checked, it only works if you pay monthly. Are there any cards that accept annual payments for claims?
@Dany
Most people pay for Apple or GoogleCare because it’s easier to make claims.
With Visa Signature, you get discounted roadside assistance. My friend’s car broke down, and he didn’t have roadside assistance through his insurance. He got his car towed home for about $75, which would have cost double without it.
@Reign
I need to look into this. Maybe I can cancel my AAA membership.

I wouldn’t do that, AAA is better and usually cheaper.
Supposedly, the Schwab Amex Platinum can redeem points into a Roth IRA, and they call it a ‘rebate.’ They suggest you can go over contribution limits that way (like Robinhood’s 3% match promotion). There’s some disagreement about whether that’s valid, though.
@Thane
This probably wouldn’t hold up if challenged. I personally wouldn’t risk it!
@Thane
I know this is for the Schwab Investor Card, but I haven’t heard about it being done with the Platinum. I think it might be possible.
The Tractor Supply Co. credit card offers a free full-day trailer rental twice a quarter. It’s also the only credit card I know that gives 3% cashback on veterinary services.
World Elite Mastercards can be used to status match at rental car agencies to get free upgrades. You can use the Ralph’s card if you want to do it in style. I think Visa Infinite may work too, but I can’t remember.
The no annual fee Connect card gives you four free Priority Pass visits (which can also be used at restaurants) and a global entry credit.

That sounds pretty good. I wonder how hard it is to get that card, especially if you’ve opened many cards this year.

You also get $100 Global Entry or TSA Pre credit as well!
