I had some expensive vet bills this month, and my only solace was getting 5% with CFF lol.
Same. Took my sister’s dog into an emergency vet on a Friday earlier this month and that was $1300. Had to return the following day and he ended up passing away. Another $1300. Maxed out q4 bonus for both the CF and CFF. Was lucky to have a $0 fee pay over time option with the CF, and the CFF has no interest for another 12 months. Trying to find the light in such a terrible situation.
@Wes
I’m so sorry to hear that. My dog had an emergency as well which ended up being related to heart disease, but I’m grateful that he is currently pretty stable with medications. Cautiously optimistic for right now.
Glad the kitty is ok. I’m hoping the pet boarding place I’m using over Christmas will code properly for 5%. Also taking him to get groomed for the first time in a couple of weeks. 5% would be a nice perk for that as well.

Nice way to pick up some extra points.
Is your cat on Solensia? It does wonders for arthritis.
I’ll look into it. It’s the standard pain med that begins with O.
Onsior probably, great medication for short term use. Solensia is for long-term control of arthritis pain. Yeah definitely look into it and talk with your vet.
I’ve done that a few times! I put stickers on all of my cards with their best categories, it’s saved me a few times this quarter, pet stores and vets are never a thing!
Yup, I reminded my mother this recently too. She just had a cat surgery done and needed some flea meds for her “cat mob” and it was gonna be a lot. Might as well get 5% for that too.
I charged cat meds from a veterinary pharmacy to my Chase Freedom card. I only got 1% back. Even though veterinary pharmacy was in the name, it codes as a health provider. Ugh!!!
Two weeks ago my sister called me and tells me our dog needs to go to the vet because he is making this wheezing sound. Vet says he has fluids in his lungs. I don’t live with them anymore so I wasn’t there to pay. My sister didn’t have money and me unwilling to let our dog be in pain I let her add my Blue Business Plus card on her iPhone through Apple Pay. After getting charged $1,461 and seeing the charge as Vet Service, I facepalmed because I remembered the quarterly category was pet services and I could have paid with my Flex.
