Should I sign up for Capital One Shopping?

Hi guys,

Capital One keeps sending me emails about their Capital One Shopping program. It seems like a service that automatically finds and applies coupons when I shop online. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth using, or is it just a way for them to collect data? Any insights would be appreciated. I think my Discover card recently offered something similar too. Thank you.

People like it for convenience, but it’s not magic. There are other ways to save:

  • Browser extensions: Similar free tools can find coupons too.
  • Store websites: Many stores offer coupons directly.
