Hey all! Many have shared the glory of the Shop Your Way card and indeed just a little over 6 months in I have gotten many offers. Just wanted to share a caveat in case it is helpful to others in future deciding whether or not to get this card—this card is stellar for high spenders, folks who live in HCOL areas, and/or people who put entire family expenses on it. For me, the spend requirements have often been too high for me to take advantage (at least with organic spend). Examples of offers I have gotten so you can decide for yourself based on your own spending:
$50 statement credit for $450 of utilities purchases
$250 statement credit for $1,000 in online purchases
$150 statement credit for $1,000-$1,999 of gas, grocery, and restaurant purchases
$250 statement credit for $2,000 or more gas, grocery, and restaurant purchases
The only offer I have gotten without spend requirement is 10% on travel and entertainment.
Even without offers, this is still a 5% gas card and 3% grocery and restaurant, so not bad but thought the details could help others make the best decision for them. Not meant as slander on this great little sleep card Cheers!
Yeah that’s why whenever I recommend the card I first ask what their natural spend on gas, groceries, and dining is.
One extra factor that helps is if they buy stuff including non-grocery type things regularly at Walmart and Target because that counts as grocery spend for this card, so maybe your normal food and gas is around $900 but you also spend $150 at Target often enough that you can hit the $1000.

Oh I actually didn’t know the target thing—that would help a lot! TY!
Yep! In-store only counts as groceries, just FYI. Ordering on the Target app or Walmart app doesn’t count as groceries. But does count as online shopping.

Is it hard to get this card? Like recent inquiry sensitive.
Any DP on approvals?
Doesn’t seem as hard as other citi cards. I was approved with 5/24, but they pulled EQ who nobody pulls here except C1. I had two inquiries (from C1) on EQ in the last 6 months.

I got approved less than a month after getting the Strata Premier. I do recall the online application bringing me to an error page and suggesting I needed to call, but after confirming some of my information I was approved.
