Quick question but how does this relate to Smartly since it’s a catchall card These should all be at the highest tiers for earning.

It doesn’t really relate to Smartly The point is that USBank gives you the MCC codes when you download the CSV file of your transactions.

Any USBank credit card will let you access this Both my Cash+ and my Kroger card do. The person who posted this just has a Smartly card and used that to find the codes, that’s all. I’ve done this with Cash+ to check the Visa codes, and used my Kroger card to confirm if the MasterCard codes are the same or different.

I was mainly concerned about how US Bank categorizes purchases The Cash+ seems great on paper but I’ve heard people say My ATT phone bill didn’t code as cell or The only place I found coding as fast food was McDonald’s So I appreciate getting more info on this.

@Farley
That’s an issue with AT&T.

If you pay the phone bill in full, it will register under the Cell Phone category earning If you only make a partial payment, I found it doesn’t always register as Cell Phone but something else I learned that the hard way and haven’t tried again, so I can’t say if that’s still an issue or not.

@Farley
Cash+ works well for utilities if you own a home I use it for my energy, water, and garbage collection bills.

Great info I’d recommend submitting this to awardwallet if you can

What are your thoughts on the US Bank annual fee for the account where you want to transfer assets?

Target online consistently shows as discount stores But some Targets do show as supermarkets, even when you don’t purchase groceries An interesting find is that Costco pharmacy actually codes as pharmacy and not wholesale.
