Q1 2025 cashback categories are out: Restaurants, Home Improvement Stores, and Some Streaming Services

Restaurants are pretty exciting in my opinion but if the Freedom Flex also includes restaurants for Q1, I’ll be putting my Discover card away until April.

This combo of categories seems a bit odd At least I know Home Improvement is a good option for Q1 Bags of dirt are often cheaper in the winter than in spring I plan to stock up on gardening supplies while they’re still discounted.

Harbor Freight usually counts as home improvement, so looks like I need to buy more tools for the new year

Chase Freedom Flex might have better options now

Yes but it changes each year I’m hoping for Q1 because I wanted a CCC but got denied.

Yes that’s why I’m hoping for it I get 10% back for about 6 more months.

I’d make a small purchase or two They warned my stepmom they might cancel her card soon because she hasn’t used it in a while
