Possible changes coming to Savor?

Although I’m fortunate enough to have no AF thanks to grandfathering in, I’m wondering whether CapOne will nerf this card anytime soon. This is my oldest card, and I don’t want to part with it (16 years old).

Credit card issuers often adjust terms and conditions over time. However, given the longevity of your account and your loyalty as a customer, it’s less likely that Capital One will make significant changes to your account.

Factors Affecting Potential Changes:

  1. Economic Conditions: Economic downturns might lead to stricter credit policies.
  2. Industry Trends: Shifts in the credit card industry can influence issuer decisions.
  3. Risk Assessment: Capital One may reassess your creditworthiness based on various factors.

Protecting Your Card Benefits:

  1. Monitor Your Account: Regularly review your account statements for any changes in terms or conditions.
  2. Understand Your Rights: Familiarize yourself with consumer protection laws regarding credit cards.
  3. Diversify Rewards: Consider having a secondary card for specific spending categories.

While there’s no guarantee that your card’s benefits will remain unchanged forever, taking proactive steps can help you protect your rewards.
