New Chase Hyatt SUB 5 FREE NIGHTS

I consider myself very lucky, as I had the page with the old offer pulled up last night and hadn’t yet applied. This is WAY better than the 30k signup +30k 2x.

I think the plus side to points is they don’t expire. These expire in one year, right? That would be the only consideration for someone who may not have plans to do something in the next year.

Absolutely! Jumped on this offer yesterday! I’ve run the numbers and as long as you’re staying at a category 2 property or higher for all five nights, this offer blows the other one out of the water. Here’s the math in case your curious:
Cat 1: 25k value
Cat 2: 40k value
Cat 3: 60k value
Cat 4: 75k value
Aim for those higher tier properties and bonus points to you if you can use them during peak season for even more value😄

@Ode
I just used my brand explorer free night award on a cat 4 in Nashville. That same hotel (within walking distance of a concert venue I’m going to) would have been $568 for 1 night. Talk about value! That’s what reignited my interest in the Chase card.

@Ode
There’s no category limitations on the free nights?

Only category 1-4 unfortunately

Anyone know if the 5 free nights can be used all in one booking or is it 1 per booking?

It appears that the answer is yes, but a little more in depth. A quick Google search is showing that you’d need to do the “Pay my Way” feature when booking, which allows you to select a way to pay for each individual night. At this point the option for the free night award should be available.

I applied yesterday. Hoping to get approved soon. Planning on running 2 marathons next year and cash price for one of the locations is $480. Free nights would be clutch.

Do you think this is the most worth chase card under 5/24?

They can’t be used at all-inclusives right?

I believe all-inclusive are category A-F or something, and this card just covers the categories 1-4

I believe you’re correct. The best answer would definitely be to call and ask them. Nothing to lose.

I would have absolutely loved this one. But, there aren’t any cat 4 hotels in any of the places i am planning on going until next year.

Edit: cat 4 shows as 12k points, not 15k points

I think I would just as soon have the 30k points. While you could get more value from 5 nights in Cat 4 hotels in theory, there are disadvantages to FNCs. For one, they need to be used within a year. Points do not expire as long as your account has some activity every 24 months.

@Tilden
Very true, but that’s potentially a 6 day vacation at a pretty nice hotel while NOT expending any points

Any guesses how long this SUB will go on for? Limited time or this is the new offer for good?

I don’t see it listed anywhere, but 10/31/24 wouldn’t be a bad bet.
