My Robinhood Gold card is Visa Infinite with Global Entry credit

Robinhood’s website advertises the card as being Visa Signature, but my physical card arrived as Visa Infinite.

Support mentioned it has all the benefits listed on the Visa Infinite website, including Global Entry/TSA Pre and Priority Pass. I just got the $100 credit back for Global Entry, but I cannot get Priority Pass to recognize the card when I try to register.

Few details:

  • I referred 10 people and got the Solid Gold Card, so it might be a special perk.
  • My credit limit is $30,000.

Yes, the Gold card is Visa Infinite; the regular card is Visa Signature.

Wow, that Gold card is Visa Infinite? I probably should have tried harder with my referrals.

It’s intriguing that:

  1. They didn’t advertise this more.
  2. It feels like this is the first time a company uses Visa Infinite as a bonus.

@Keir
Yeah, especially since you’re pretty much getting Global Entry for free here. That’s huge.

Getting Global Entry for free is quite common these days. I literally have 5 cards that offer it right now.

The Priority Pass benefits can vary. If it’s like the Venture X, that’s great. If it’s just a basic membership and you have to pay $27 to enter the lounges, then it’s pretty much the same as the Global Entry credit. Sure, it’s nice, but ultimately not a game changer.

@Bayley
Do your 5 cards have annual fees over $50?

Two are free, one is free after rebate, and the other two are new cards that I’ll close (with $500+ annual fee).

@Fisher
US Bank Altitude Connect and PenFed Pathfinder. Both also come with Priority Pass, with the Altitude Connect getting 4 free visits. The Pathfinder also offers a $100 airline credit reimbursement yearly.

@Bayley
Awesome. Thank you. I’ll look into those for my folks.

Very interesting.

My credit limit is 40k, but mine is just a Visa Signature. I’ll ask support if it can be upgraded!

Enjoy it until they scam you.
