Hi! I have had credit cards for a while now but I am not really into using them as a financial tool the way a lot of people on this sub do. I am planning a wedding and want to open a 0% interest credit card to be able to pay for things overtime if necessary. I have a Capital One platinum card that was my first card that I opened when I had no credit. I rarely use it anymore.
I also have a Chase Freedom Flex with a 30,000 limit which is my daily spender. Both of these credit cards are 3+ years old. I have a strong income and strong credit score so I am hoping I have some good options. Thanks in advance.
I went with a card I was already established with and explained my situation not wedding planning but another large purchase and was honest with the rep.
Ended up with 0% for 12 months.
Maybe before opening a new card, call and talk to your established cards.
@Thecaucasian
Holy shit it worked!!! I just called one of my established cards and I was able to get a balance transfer!! You just saved me from opening a line and credit card I didn’t have to!!!

Always good to try with your established connections.
In my case, I also told the rep - this would be a good time for me to list pros and cons for cards I keep moving forward.
Wells Fargo Reflect has 21 months. I have a balance transfer on it and I’ll use all 21 months to clear it all.

For OP’s benefit: 5% BT fee.
U.S. Bank Visa® Platinum Card at 21 months - U.S. Bank Visa® Platinum Credit Card

5% BT fee. Citi Simplicity charges 3% if done shortly after account opening.
@Aiden
I got the impression that OP was looking for 0% on purchases, not BT.

Hmm, good question. I saw discussions of BTs in the comments so I was looking up the various fee structures.
Looks like OP solved their problem, though, either way.

Solid choice — only 3% intro BT fee.
