Enjoy that twenty bucks!
Unfortunately for me, it’s going to be a lot more than $20 lol.

Shhh
Wouldn’t you be better off focusing on sign-up bonuses?

Couldn’t you say that about any spending? I haven’t ventured into churning yet.

That’s definitely true. However, things like rent, especially if you can split them up (like doing a partial payment—which I think you can), are particularly handy for sign-up bonuses. It’s a large, recurring expense that’s easy to split. If you have a sign-up bonus requiring $4k in three months, it’s way easier to charge rent to it twice than carry around the card and try to monitor your spending to meet the requirements without going over.

Very true.

Sign-up bonuses are usually one-time deals. I prefer long-term benefits in my daily life rather than just a bonus. I don’t want the hassle, so I go for cards that fit my needs.
If this were r/churn, that would make sense, but it’s r/creditcards, and I focus on long-term value over bonuses that I don’t need to cancel afterward.
@ace
A one-time thing, you say?
I have a $2500 limit and my rent is $2200. Do they typically increase limits over time?
I heard you can connect the card to your Bilt rent rewards account, have the rent charged there, and get 1% back net and 1x Bilt point from a rent transaction. Can anyone confirm that?

You only get 250 points if you use a non-Bilt card for rent, not 1x Bilt points. You would get 1% back net (4-3%).
I think it’s easier to pay with a Discover debit card for 1% cash back minus the debit transaction fee.
