I think I have a bit of a Chipotle addiction, spending about $300 a month there. I know it’s excessive, and I’ve been trying to cut back, but it’s tough! I’m looking for a credit card that offers good cash back for dining to help ease the financial burden while I try to manage my cravings.

Starting next month, the Chase Freedom Flex card will offer 5% cash back on PayPal purchases, including a Gift Card Exchange for Chipotle gift cards. You can buy $100 gift cards for $84.36 (or $88.80 before cash back). If you use the Chipotle Rewards app to redeem for free entrees, you can effectively get about 5.51% back (this is if you get chicken, so it could be better with pricier entrees).
Overall, this means you can get 21.15% off your Chipotle order. For example, a $13.30 chicken and guac order would only cost you $10.49—like getting free guac and then some …
You can buy up to $1,700 in Chipotle gift cards this way (because of CFF limits), which would give you about 10.625 free entrees, worth at least another $100. If you spend $300 a month at Chipotle, this would last you about six months…
It sounds like you’ve got a great system going with your Ralphs Kroger card and Chipotle rewards! Keep enjoying your daily visits!
You used to be able to get refunds for every order within 10 seconds through Pepper Chat, but they got rid of that feature a while ago. However, you can still call the corporate number to get every order refunded.
If you use Google Pay or Apple Pay, co-branded cards like the US Bank Teeter card or Ralphs card offer 5% cash back. I also have the Redstone Visa card, which gives 5% cash back on dining.
