Congrats!!! Excellent news!!
We’ve been waiting for this.
Great job! If you continue to use your credit card, pay it off every month. Don’t let it get beyond you again.
That’s a charge card. How much did you pay in fees for carrying a balance?

I didn’t pay any fees. Active duty military gets the annual fee waived.

Yeah, you get the annual fee paid for, but not the interest.

If you have ‘Pay Over Time’ enabled, it functions like a credit card.

No fees?
@Dex
Just interest.

Sometimes with a low promo rate, too.
Congrats!
Congratulations! That’s not a small amount.
Never using that card again reflects your own illogical spending rather than a fault of the card.
That’s a lot of money, great job! Hopefully, lessons are learned, and you never end up in that situation again.
Keep it for the benefits and credits if they work for you going forward; there are much better cards for spending.
Great job! Your hard work paid off… and you paid it off!
Congratulations!
How did you end up making payments for three years when the card requires payment in full every month? Did you rack up a ton of charges and then go on that Pay Over Time option? How much did that end up costing in fees and interest?
There are many ways to match the benefits with other cards! A PayPal debit does 5% back on restaurants; I just found this out recently. You can also status match elsewhere.
Very good.
