I can't log into shopyourway.com

Hi guys,

Over the weekend, I applied for and was approved for the Citi Sears SYW Mastercard.

During the application, I set up a username and password for the Citi credit card account and a separate email and password for the SYW account.

I can log in to the Citi credit card account without issues. However, I’m unable to access the SYW account. Although the system recognizes my email address and password, it prompts me for my First Name, Last Name, and zip code on the second page. After entering this information, I receive a vague error message.

About 10 years ago, when Sears still had stores nearby, I believe I had a SYW account, but I don’t remember the details.

The SYW support email is asking for my SYW account number, which starts with 7801, but I can’t find it anywhere. The support representative mentioned that it should appear on the Citi side when I log in, but it does not.

Is there something I’m missing, or do I need to wait for the physical credit card to resolve this issue?

When dealing with issues accessing your SYW account linked to your new Citi Sears SYW Mastercard, it sounds like you might be facing a system glitch or a mismatch in account details. Since you can log into the Citi credit card account but not SYW, and you don’t have your SYW account number, it’s possible that the integration between the two systems isn’t fully updated yet. It’s best to wait until you receive your physical card, as it should have the SYW account number on it, which may resolve your access issues. In the meantime, ensure that all your personal information matches between both accounts and consider contacting SYW support again once you have the physical card for further assistance.

I had a similar issue when I first got my credit card and had trouble accessing related accounts. It sounds like the SYW account might be linked to your new Citi card, but sometimes these systems can have glitches or delays. To resolve this, try contacting SYW support again and explain the situation, including your new card details and the error message you’re receiving. In my experience, waiting for the physical card can sometimes help, as it often contains account details or instructions for online access. Additionally, ensure you’re using the correct credentials and double-check any old SYW account information that might still be relevant.
