Does Frontier Airlines Credit Card Charge Interest? Help Needed / Question

I’m opening a Frontier Airlines credit card and need some clarification. Will they charge interest on it? Also, do I have to pay the $89 annual fee as soon as I open the account, and if so, when?

Here’s the paragraph I’m trying to understand:

Annual Fee: $89. 0% introductory APR on balance transfers made within 45 days of account opening is applicable for the first 15 billing cycles that immediately follow each balance transfer. This introductory APR offer does not apply to purchases and cash advances. For new and outstanding balance transfers after the introductory period and all purchases, the variable APR is 21.24% to 29.99%, depending upon our review of your application, your credit history at account opening, and other factors. The variable APR for cash advances is 29.99%. The APRs on your account will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate and are subject to change. The minimum monthly interest charge will be $0.50. Balance transfer fee: 5% (min. $5). Cash advance fee: 5% (min. $10). Foreign transaction fee: 0%. See Terms and Conditions for updated and more information about the terms of this offer, including the “About the Variable APRs on Your Account” section for the current Prime Rate information.”

My Questions:

  1. Will I be charged interest on this card?
  2. When is the $89 annual fee charged?

Thanks for your help!

Every credit card charges interest as specified in the credit card terms. However, there may be promotional periods during which you are charged little to no interest. For example, you might not pay any interest on balance transfers for the first 15 months.

This promotion applies only to balance transfers, not new purchases. If you fail to make the minimum payment each month during this promotional period, the benefit will be voided, and normal interest rates will resume.

Remember, you will never pay interest as long as you pay off your statement balance in full each month and don’t carry a balance into the next month. Your annual fee will be due at the end of your first billing cycle.
