My VantageScore 3.0 credit score with Credit Karma just popped from 720 to 820 due to the last of divorce debt falling off. So I am back to looking for the best next thing!
Current lineup is:
Alliant FCU: 2.5% catch-all
Chase Freedom Flex: Just got this with the 10% grocery SUB, I will max it out.
Amex Blue Everyday: Downgraded from BCP when I got the CFF - 3% on gas
US Bank Altitude Go: 4% on dining out
Chase Prime: Amazon 5%
Places where I am lacking are travel and mobile wallet. I use Google Pay everywhere I can, so anything over 2.5% would be nice. I just prequalified and was approved for Venture X, but I didn’t go through the whole app yet. I was denied last month when my score was 720.
So what do you geniuses got for me? I am always looking for new strategies and appreciate this community!

I’m not looking to take the wind out of your sails and am certainly happy for you that the last debt falling off of your reports… but be aware that VantageScore 3.0 is nearly irrelevant, and you should only concern yourself with meaningful FICO scores.
@Renny
Thanks. I get that. And I do appreciate you pointing that out. My FICO scores on my credit card websites haven’t updated yet. I guess I jumped the gun.

You can grab a couple of free FICO 8 scores at creditscore.com and myfico.com if you’d like to see where those stand.
I think the US Bank Altitude Reserve would be a great choice. It’s 3x cash back on all Mobile Wallet purchases, but if you redeem the points for travel it’s 4.5x with an effective AF of 75 dollars and has lounge access as well (AF $400 - Travel credit $325).
If you get this card, pairing it with the Venture X in the future is a great combo IMO.
@Cairo
Just to throw in some breakpoint information: If you don’t take into account the 4.5% cpp redemption, after using the $325 travel/dining credits, you need to spend $2,500 in mobile wallet payments.
