Since tipping a delivery driver (an absolute must!) will greatly offset the $10, pickup is the only economically sound strategy. Most places are set to delivery only, except for convenience stores.
Here’s the strategy: the only thing not marked up by at least 2-fold in convenience stores is unfortunately alcohol. Alternatively, my 7-11 also has some $2 pool toys.
So there you have it, Chase is literally giving us beer money.

I just did a test order and I don’t see any Offers Button on the checkout screen. Can you elaborate?
Some places don’t have pickup as an option.
The better tip is you can also ‘DoubleDash’ an order. When you’re ordering food, double dash a 6-pack of beer for free ($10 DD credit + no extra fees).

Set your Sapphire Preferred to payment method in DoorDash and it will show the list of benefits. It’s slightly convoluted but $120 of free money.
I live right next to a Safeway and although I can’t pick up groceries with DD, I am able to pick up flowers at the flower shop. $8.99 flowers for the girlfriend every month. Use up the credit and keep the girlfriend happy—best of both worlds.
Did you mean the CSR, not CSP? My CSP just has the free DashPass, not $10 credits.

My CSP $10 credit pops up in the DoorDash app at checkout. It’s for grocery only, and I usually just pick up some treats for a movie at 7-11.
