Chase vs. Amex credit cards: what’s the better combo?

Chase Freedom Unlimited + Sapphire Reserve or Amex Gold + Platinum? I have both Chase cards and the Amex Platinum. The reward redemption in the Chase Travel portal seems significantly better with the bonus for using their portal. 100k points can equal $1,000 cash or $1,500 through their portal: it’s impressive. My girlfriend and I each make around $200k, but we don’t have extravagant spending habits, no business expenses, and we don’t fly business or first class. It doesn’t seem like the Platinum perks justify the cost. While concierge service, lounges, and gold status are great, there are overlapping benefits between the Chase and AMEX cards.
