Card Match Tool Accuracy

After sporadic exploration to view some of my pre-approved offers, I discovered today that I am pre-approved for Sapphire Preferred and Chase Freedom Unlimited. I want to make sure these are just as trustworthy as a pre-approval offer from Chase or the mail before applying.

I was curious about your opinions on the card match tool and whether you had any success, even though there is obviously no assurance and it still requires an application.

Do you have a Chase account? If so, check out their pre-approved offers on their website. Unless the card match tool gives you a better sign-up bonus.

I usually hear about the card match tool when people talk about the 100k Amex Platinum sign-up bonus, but I’m not sure if that’s still available.
