I’ve been using Capital One for about two months now, and compared to my other credit cards from Amex and Chase, Capital One is the worst. Every time I contact customer support about refunds received after paying off my card, I end up on hold for nearly an hour, only to speak with someone who barely speaks English. Avoid this company at all costs; you’re better off with Amex or another credit card.
For me, the reverse is true. I’ve contacted customer service twice in the last two weeks, and each time, I’m connected to a US-based CSR who tries to help and understands my position in less than five minutes.

I was declined for a $25 purchase at a grocery store even after verifying my new card. I’ve always paid my bill in full. The service is terrible – I waited 1.5 hours, dealt with a robot, and was transferred three times with no explanation for the limit cut. Stay away from them. They clearly don’t care about their customers, and their policies are useless and should be reviewed by the authorities.
