I know there are charge cards that don’t have a clearly stated limit, but rather an internal one based on your relationship with the issuer. That said, does anyone have a proper credit card that offers a limit over $100k? How did you manage to get such a high limit? I’m specifically referring to the limit on one card only.
You need to have an income that can back up that kind of borrowing. You can have an 800 credit score, but if your income is 100k, getting that limit is unlikely. You probably need a hefty seven-figure income.

Just because YOU might not be able to pay it back doesn’t mean others can’t handle a large credit limit.

Lol, what? They’re pointing out that someone with a $100k income likely can’t pay off $100k in revolving debt all at once. No bank would trust that.
I have a Capital One Venture card with a 119k limit. So it’s definitely possible.

That’s interesting. I’m considering that card but have never had a miles card instead of a points card. Can you redeem the miles for things like gift cards?

If you redeem for anything other than travel statement credits or transfers to partners, you’ll only get 0.5 cents per point.

I got the card in 2022 and started with a 30k limit. In 2023, I received an offer to increase my limit to over 100k, ending up at 119k.
