For those of you who shop a lot at big-box stores like Target or Costco, the U.S. Bank Shopper Cash Rewards™ Visa Signature® Card might be a good option. You can earn up to 6% cash back at those places, and there’s a $250 bonus if you spend $2,000 in the first 120 days.

I do a lot of my shopping at Costco, so this might be worth considering. Does it have an annual fee?

It’s $95 after the first year. But if you shop at big-box stores regularly, the 6% cash back more than makes up for the fee. You just need to make sure you’re hitting those categories to get the most value out of it.

Good point. I’ll do the math and see if it makes sense for me based on how much I spend.
I just got the American Express® Gold Card, and I’m loving the 4X points on dining and groceries. I also snagged the 60,000-point bonus after spending $6,000 in 6 months, which wasn’t hard for me since I use it for all my daily expenses.
@fabian
That’s a nice bonus, but $6,000 seems like a high spending threshold. How does the 4X points on dining and groceries work?

It’s super straightforward. Every time I use the card at restaurants or grocery stores, I get 4 points per dollar spent. It adds up quickly if you eat out or buy groceries often.
