Are people still getting Robinhood cards? Been on the list since day one

At this point, I’m at a loss for when this card will be rolled out. I don’t know anyone who has one.

Are they still releasing them, or have they gone quiet until there’s ‘wide availability’?

It’s been 8 months of waiting, and I’ve had gold for 2.5 years now.

Same here, been on the waitlist since day one. They seem to be selective about who they offer it to.

A representative mentioned there would be no waitlist by 2025, but that could mean the end of 2025.

I’ve been offered the card twice since its launch but ignored both offers.

What state or region are you in?

Why didn’t you accept?

I don’t need the RH Gold card since my USBAR and VX give me better value.

User prkskier likely has a URBAR, so they don’t need a second 3% card.

@Merrill
I use the Robinhood card for non-mobile payments. USBAR is my main card, but the RH card complements non-Apple Pay online purchases.

VX looks good as a travel spend card, too.

That’s a solid setup. I value my Capital One miles highly, so my VX effectively gives me 3.2% or more in my view. But locking in a hassle-free 3% might make more sense. Still love my VX.

I’ve also been on the waitlist since day one and had gold for over a year. Still no invites to apply. I’ve heard the RH gold card isn’t available in some states, and I lived in one when I joined the list (though I moved recently).

I’m still waiting, but I’m starting to lose interest. The new US Bank Smartly card and USBAR offer similar cashback.

If the Robinhood gold card doesn’t have a sign-up bonus in the future, I’ll probably pass on it.

@Brown
I prefer sign-up bonuses too. I was only interested if I could get a Solid Gold card or cash equivalent as a bonus. Without qualifying, I probably wouldn’t have signed up.

@Brown
I heard that card shuts people down for purchases like at Costco, so I’ll stick with VX and USBAR.

Get the Venmo card; it gives 3% at Costco.

Yes! The Venmo card is my dedicated card for wholesale clubs, liquor stores, and Walmart.

@Corwin
Same here; they often run special promotions.

Like 6x points.

Just so you know, those who got shut down bought gold bars at Costco, which count as a kind of currency.

I’ve had my gold card since July 8th and got 3 family cards. I think those of us requesting authorized user cards are backing things up.

I got mine in the summer. It’s been my main card since then. I’ve been with Robinhood investing for 4 years and a Gold member for about 9 months.

I’ve been on the waitlist for about six months and got the card last week!
